Azeem Nathoo

Azeem Nathoo has been a performer for over 20yrs. Since graduating from LAMDA, he has worked on stage and screen in both the UK and Canada.

Canada: Stratford Shakespeare Festival 2008 season, Private Eyes (LemonTree Creations / Lieut. Govs. Ont. & Nfld.), Tragedie of Lear (Ad Hoc Collective), Alice in Wonderland (Theatre Northwest), Richard III (Metachroma Theatre Company), I Marcus Garvey (Theatre Archipelago), Komagata Maru Project (Theatre WhyNot).

Playwright: Azeem's first play “1184” premiered at Theatre Passe Muraille in Spring 2022, garnering two Dora Mavor Moore Award nominations. 

Educator: Recently co-directed Shakespeare performance at George Brown College theatre school.

Jon de Leon

Jon de Leon is a Toronto based actor/creative. Selected theatre performance credits include featured roles in Shakespeare’s Hamlet (Driftwood Theatre), Every Letter Counts by Nina Lee Aquino (Factory Theatre), Shakespeare’s Love’s Labour’s Lost, Julius Caesar, Twelfth Night, Coriolanus, and Ben Jonson’s Bartholomew Fair (Stratford Festival); and The Boat by Ryan Griffith (Theatre New Brunswick). Selected film and television credits include featured roles in Rookie Blue (CTV), Lost Girl (Showcase), Flashpoint (CTV/CBS), Mary Kills People (Global) and Downsizing (Mega Omaha Films Inc.). Jon also produced, wrote, and starred in the short film “Caught in the Act” and its sister-show web series, “I am not a Chef!” on YouTube. Currently he is writing, starring, and producing the web series “The Isolationists.” Jon is a graduate of the theatre program at Concordia University in Montreal and was a member of the Birmingham Conservatory for Classical Training at the Stratford Festival.

Upcoming: Jon can be seen as the recurring character Dennis Garcia in CBC’s Coroner.
